Built for long-term monitoring of remote and non-powered assets with LTE-M & NB-IoT connectivity and 2G fallback.
Remote assets · Non-powered assets · Long idle periods · Outdoor deployment · Low-frequency reporting · Infrequent maintenance
3×AA replaceable pack, up to 7 years at 1 report/day. Or a 7800mAh rechargeable pack (USB-C) at ~3 years — a conservative calculation; our rechargeable field unit has already passed 3.9 years.
Both figures assume 1 report/day. Actual life varies by deployment — see factors below.
operational days on one battery
An MT700-W rechargeable test unit has been transmitting 1 report/day over NB-IoT in Shenzhen continuously since December 2022, with 56% battery capacity remaining as of October 29, 2026.
Reflects one continuously monitored test unit — not a guarantee for every deployment.

Actual operating life depends on all of the above, not one simple formula — see the field testing methodology.
01 / Network
Network availability and supported bands vary by country and carrier — coverage should be confirmed for your target market. Deploying where LTE-M & NB-IoT coverage is limited? See MT700L for standard 4G LTE Cat 1 bis coverage instead.
02 / Platform
MT700 is hardware designed for integration — not a closed platform. It reports over an open protocol so you control where the data goes.
Long-term monitoring for trailers and non-powered assets where frequent battery replacement is impractical — MT700 supports low-frequency tracking without tractor power.
MT700's IP68 housing withstands washdowns, dust, and vibration on active job sites.
Low sleep current supports multi-year autonomous tracking for distributed assets that are costly to visit and service.
MT700 ships in 4 configurations — battery type and WiFi. Pick yours below to see the exact model code.

Product specification: up to 7 years on the user-replaceable 3×AA pack, or about 3 years on the built-in 7800mAh rechargeable pack, both at 1 report per day. Actual operating life depends on reporting frequency, positioning conditions, cellular coverage, movement, temperature, and configuration. The ~3-year rechargeable figure is a conservative calculation: an MT700-W test unit on the rechargeable pack has reported once a day over NB-IoT in Shenzhen since December 2022 — over 1,428 days (about 3.9 years) as of October 29, 2026, with 56% battery remaining, and it is still running. One unit in a mild climate is not a guarantee; we will update the specification when the test completes.
MT700 supports LTE-M and NB-IoT, with automatic 2G quad-band GSM/GPRS fallback. Network availability and supported bands vary by country and carrier, so LTE-M & NB-IoT with 2G fallback coverage should be confirmed for your specific deployment market.
Yes. MT700 reports over an open protocol via TCP/UDP, so it can send data directly to your own server IP/port or to third-party platforms such as Traccar, Wialon, and Flespi, without proprietary middleware or subscription lock-in.
Yes. MT700 offers 9 configurable working modes, including motion wake-up, periodic interval, scheduled time, and deep standby, so reporting behavior can be matched to how the asset is actually used.
Yes. MT700 has an IP68-rated waterproof and dust-tight enclosure and an operating temperature range of -20°C to +60°C (-4°F to 140°F), designed for outdoor and industrial deployment conditions.
