MT710 is not a smaller MT700 — it's built for installations where mounting space, device weight, and enclosure size are the deciding factors, not maximum battery life.
A smaller, lighter enclosure fits installations where a full-size tracker cannot — inside toolboxes, on portable equipment cases, or attached to smaller assets — while still meeting outdoor durability requirements.

Low-Power Operation
Under frequent active tracking, runtime may reduce to approximately 3–7 days depending on reporting interval, motion activity, GNSS acquisition, and network conditions. An internal accelerometer powers down cellular and GNSS radios when motionless, waking immediately on movement or vibration.
Low-Power Cellular Connectivity
Network availability and supported bands vary by country and carrier — coverage should be confirmed for your target market. WiFi access point sniffing helps determine location where GNSS reception is limited (e.g. indoors); MT710 still reports over the cellular network, not WiFi. What is WiFi positioning used for on MT710?
WiFi positioning is an additional location source, not a data connection. MT710 uses WiFi access point sniffing to help determine location where GNSS reception is limited, such as indoors or in dense urban environments. Data is still transmitted over the cellular network (LTE-M & NB-IoT with 2G fallback), not over WiFi.
Can MT710 connect to my own server?
Yes. MT710 reports over an open protocol via TCP/UDP, so it can send data directly to your own server IP/port or to third-party platforms such as Traccar, Wialon, and Flespi, without proprietary middleware or subscription lock-in.
