Compact Design

Designed for Compact Installations

MT710 is not a smaller MT700 — it's built for installations where mounting space, device weight, and enclosure size are the deciding factors, not maximum battery life.

Total weight
46×41×16mm
Enclosure dimensions
IP68
Sealed housing

A smaller, lighter enclosure fits installations where a full-size tracker cannot — inside toolboxes, on portable equipment cases, or attached to smaller assets — while still meeting outdoor durability requirements.

  • Recharges via a sealed external magnetic pogo-pin connector — no need to open the casing
  • Mounts with industrial adhesive, cable tie/lanyard, or an optional magnetic holder
  • Integrated SOS emergency button for field/lone-worker use cases

Under frequent active tracking, runtime may reduce to approximately 3–7 days depending on reporting interval, motion activity, GNSS acquisition, and network conditions. An internal accelerometer powers down cellular and GNSS radios when motionless, waking immediately on movement or vibration.

Connectivity

Low-Power Cellular Connectivity

LTE-M Low-power cellular IoT connectivity
NB-IoT Low-bandwidth, low-power IoT deployment
2G Fallback Available where supported by local operators
WiFi Positioning Additional location source, not a data connection

Network availability and supported bands vary by country and carrier — coverage should be confirmed for your target market. WiFi access point sniffing helps determine location where GNSS reception is limited (e.g. indoors); MT710 still reports over the cellular network, not WiFi. Deploying where LTE-M & NB-IoT coverage is limited? See MT710L for standard 4G LTE Cat 1 bis coverage instead.

Open Integration

Use MT710 With Your Own Platform

MT710 is hardware designed for integration — not a closed platform. It reports over an open protocol so you control where the data goes.

  • Open protocol over TCP/UDP
  • Reports directly to your own server
  • Compatible with third-party tracking platforms (e.g. Traccar, Wialon, Flespi)
  • Mictrack Config Tool for supported device configuration

Where MT710 Fits Best

MT710 FAQ

How long can the MT710 battery last?

Product specification: the 650mAh internal battery supports up to 1 year of operation at 1 report/day in deep sleep mode, or 3-7 days in active motion-tracking mode. Actual operating life depends on reporting frequency, positioning conditions, cellular coverage, movement, temperature, and configuration.

What networks does MT710 support?

MT710 supports LTE-M and NB-IoT, with automatic 2G quad-band GSM/GPRS fallback. Network availability and supported bands vary by country and carrier, so coverage should be confirmed for your deployment market.

What is WiFi positioning used for on MT710?

WiFi positioning is an additional location source, not a data connection. MT710 uses WiFi access point sniffing to help determine location where GNSS reception is limited, such as indoors or in dense urban environments. Data is still transmitted over the cellular network (LTE-M & NB-IoT with 2G fallback), not over WiFi.

Can MT710 connect to my own server?

Yes. MT710 reports over an open protocol via TCP/UDP, so it can send data directly to your own server IP/port or to third-party platforms such as Traccar, Wialon, and Flespi, without proprietary middleware or subscription lock-in.

Is MT710 suitable for outdoor use?

Yes. MT710 has an IP68-rated waterproof and dust-tight enclosure and an operating temperature range of -20°C to +70°C (-4°F to +158°F).

Can I order a sample before a volume order?

Yes. MOQ is 1 unit. Samples ship the same way — order 1 unit and it goes out within 1-2 days, so you can test before committing to a volume order.
